About Me
I began my professional journey as a physiotherapist when I qualified from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, with a Masters (pre-registration) in 2009. Prior to this, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology at the National University of Ireland, Galway. I began my career as a rotational physiotherapist, before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working across a variety of public and private sector practices.
In my spare time, I am involved with a number of outreach activities, including the online physiotherapy education platform Trust-Me Education and the MSK Reform think tank that aims to raise the profile and support evidence informed physiotherapy practice throughout the UK. I have presented at several public events, updated clinical guidelines for the NHS and remain actively involved in audit and research.
I also run an online art & crafts site - check out www.etsy.com/shop/prettyrandomcrafts for unique gifts and keepsakes!
